We had a truly moving experience during our tour in the Holy Land! Today, we had the privilege of visiting the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, a place of profound spiritual significance.

As of May 21st (the midnight between May 20th and May 21st, Israel Time) – testing is no longer required for anyone traveling to Israel.

The requirements of proof of a negative PCR/Antigen test prior to departure, as well as the PCR test and isolation upon arrival – will be cancelled.

Travelers will still be required to fill in an entry statement in the 48 hours prior to departure to Israel.

In addition, as of May 23rd, the mask mandate for international flights to/from Israel will be lifted.

We're reaching out to share exciting news from Israel – the Ministry of Health has announced an ease in COVID testing requirements to enter the country. Beginning Friday, May 20, all travelers flying into Israel will no longer be required to take a PCR test upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. This will allow for travelers to depart the airport without having to take a COVID test and quarantine – visitors are free to begin their vacation the minute they step off the plane.

To note, pre-departure testing will still be required (before flying to Israel) – as of today, travelers can opt to either take an Antigen test (within 24 hours of departure) or PCR test (within 72 hours of travel). A completed entry form is also still required to enter the country.

Following the Government's approval to re-open Israel’s skies to vaccinated tourists, the Israel Ministry of Tourism is announcing the launch of a dedicated landing page on its website for tourist entry requirements.
The landing page incorporates useful information related to local Covid-19 guidelines that a tourist would need to meet in order to visit Israel.

In general, these are the requirements:
1. Be Fully Vaccinated with the last dose having been administered within 180 days from the tourist's scheduled departure from Israel.
2. Take A PCR test 72 hours before the outbound flight to Israel or a rapid antigen test in the 24 hours before the outbound flight to Israel (not a home test).
3. Fill out the passenger entry statement form (MOH website).

4. Take a PCR test upon arrival at the airport then quarantine in a hotel until results return or 24 hours pass (whichever happens first).

I hope that things will only go in a positive direction from this point forward.

You need to fill out and submit the form within 48 hours before the flight, the earlier the better. Without a complete form, you will not be allowed to board the flight or and border control will not let you through. If you have already arrived in Israel but recovered or been vaccinated abroad, you....
