We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden recent passing of our mother, Sheila Stone. This business was her dream, and you were more than her customers - you were family.

As Sheila was the sole proprietor, we will be closing this business and all future tours will be canceled. In the coming weeks, we will be contacting everyone who booked upcoming tours and issue full refunds.

This will of course take some time, and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Thank you all, so much, for the community you built with Sheila. Sharing the joy of travel with you was her heart's passion. She will be deeply missed.

Sincerely,
Kristjan Stone
Jonathan Stone

I happened to be in London last September when Queen Elizabeth unexpectedly passed away. She had reigned for over 70 years and most Britons knew no other monarch. She was greatly-respected and much-loved. There was a tremendous outpouring of sentiment all over the country. I went to Buckingham Palace early the next morning, visited several small towns in the days following, and ended up in Windsor the day after her funeral.

You're invited to a free Zoom presentation as I share an American's experience of being in Britain during this historic time.

Saturday, August 12 at 09:00 Pacific, 10:00 Mountain, 11:00 Central, and Noon Eastern Time. Here is the link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85149569526?pwd=QklaTi9VamZGM2V1ajBjNmIxdXV5Zz09

My friend, Lucy Seligman has a wonderful blog about Japan (and Japanese food!). She just posted the guest blog I wrote about my recent, post-Covid Japan experiences. If you're interested, please check it out!

What's it like to visit Japan after the pandemic? My friend Sheila recently visited and is kind enough to share her experience as the country finally re-opens!
