Orcas vs a blue whale! An adult blue whale doing everything in its power to “outrun” a pod of desperate orcas. Numerous times forcefully raising its pectoral fins and fluke out of the sea in despair. Did this actually happen…cuz I still can’t believe the shock, amazement and madness of this encounter. Been thinking about it everyday, as I am still trying to process what the hell happened to us all onboard the wildest of days out at sea. Apologies for the horizontal view and having to flip your phone…but showing this in vertical format doesn’t do justice, eliminating so much from the raw power of the moment.
