From all of us at WOW! Travel Club, please know that our hearts, hands, and efforts are with our WOW! Family members personally impacted by the devastating LA firestorm. Some of our own beloved Wowees face a challenging road ahead, but Gabriel, Dan, Howard, Ellen, and Marilyn (our cherished founder) are here to offer our unwavering support in any way we can.

To those who turned travel connections into life connections—opening your homes, giving generously, and standing by one another this week—you embody the strength of shared experiences and the lasting bonds they create.

We also stand in solidarity with the broader Los Angeles community during this difficult time, honoring the resilience and generosity of spirit that define our city.

Our WOW! Select Explorer of the Month: Susan Rosenberg

Susan’s journey with travel began in 1968 with a solo trip to England, and now, at 78, she has visited 80 countries across all seven continents! Her adventures with WOW! Travel Club started in 2014 on a life-changing trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with Together Women Rise. Since then, Susan has embarked on 11 more WOW! journeys, including Cuba, Croatia (where she danced!), Patagonia, Egypt and Jordan (her “best trip ever”), and Southern Africa (five safaris across four countries). She treasures the heartfelt camaraderie, surprises, and one-of-a-kind experiences that WOW! is known for.
A retired academic librarian of 41 years, Susan created the “Solo Travel for Women Boot Camp” to inspire others to explore the world with confidence. Her advice? Step out of your comfort zone, embrace new adventures, and stay positive. Even in retirement, Susan keeps active with fitness, friends, and community work, serving on the boards of the Asbury Park Historical Society and Museum and as a docent at the Stephen Crane House.
Susan’s passion for travel also fuels her generosity. Inspired by her journeys, she supports the International Chandramauli Charitable Trust of India (link below), and Children of Vietnam. For Susan, travel is “the ultimate wellspring of vitality” and a way to truly experience life. We’re honored to celebrate her incredible spirit—WOW!, indeed!

Meet Tim and Gabie Neufeld, seasoned adventurers with 11 unforgettable WOW! trips under their belts. Their first adventure with WOW! took them to Machu Picchu in 2007, sparking a love for travel filled with adventure, new friendships, and lasting memories. Their bucket list now points to South Korea, while the Amazon remains a favorite destination for its natural wonders.
Tim and Gabie love WOW! trips for the five-star experience and the peace of mind that comes with exceptional planning. "The ability to just show up at a specific time and have everything else handled by our fearless leader is priceless," they say. For them, travel is all about exploring new cultures, tasting diverse cuisines, and seeing how the rest of the world lives—fascinating and exciting in every way.
Semi-retired, Tim and Gabie share a blended family of four children and three granddaughters.
They spend their time helping others, volunteering, gardening, and staying fit. Their passion for giving back is evident through their support of the Skid Row Running Club, a program that helps individuals in Los Angeles overcome addiction and embrace positive lifestyles. As they advise new travelers, "Don't worry. Be happy."

Meet Paul and Heather Loskutoff, seasoned explorers who have embarked on seven incredible WOW! trips, including Greece, Egypt, Thailand, Peru, Spain, Southern Africa, and witnessing the Northern Lights. Their bucket list includes Japan, Mongolia, Armenia, China, and "The Stans," with South Africa as a standout favorite.

For Paul and Heather, WOW! trips are about more than luxury. They value the excellent guides, high-end accommodations, and delicious dining, all while immersing themselves in new cultures and traditions. Their first WOW! trip to Greece in 2022 ignited their passion for meeting new people and sharing memorable adventures.

Now retired, Paul and Heather are embracing life, enjoying hiking, cooking, photography, and staying fit. Having formed a blended family, Paul and Heather share five children and two grandchildren. Known for their extremely friendly nature and photogenic charm, they cherish making new and lasting friendships through their travels. In honor of their adventurous spirit, a donation will be made in their name to a children's charity, reflecting their commitment to giving back.
