Learn to Support Your Community in Times of Crisis. Rebuild and CAT-911 Koreatown bring you a donation-based Bystander Intervention & De-escalation class! This workshop is all about empowering you with tools to navigate conflict, support your community, and create safer spaces.

We’ll continue to share the good deeds organized by our friends across LA in response to the wildfires. It inspires us to see how the art community comes together to support each other and open up their spaces to provide comfort for creatives who find solace in making and culture. LED Lamps is a two hour workshop that results in a unique object of home decor. Learn advanced cardboard construction techniques to design and build a three dimensional lamp shade inspired by modern art, organic shapes, and arabesque lamps. All tools and materials provided.

Make at Rediscover is a new adult workshop series at Rediscover Center Mid City. A space away from your 9-5 to spark creativity, joy, and new connections. Join us solo or with friends for a variety of creative workshops taught by Rediscover’s Teaching Artists. Enjoy light refreshments and a chill vibe of friendly makers and crafters. All workshops are beginner friendly yet fun for all levels of skill! Use Rediscover’s amazing makerspace, stocked with our famous curated collection of upcycled sustainable materials and professional-grade toolsets for crafting, sewing, woodworking, and digital fabrication.

🚨 With schools closed, Rediscover Center Venice and Rediscover Center Mid City are open and free for Family Crafting today 1/9 and tomorrow 1/10 (10 AM - 4 PM). Our WiFi is available for visitors who need the resource. Come in and let us make you a cup of tea.

We are saddened to witness the devastation of the wildfires in L.A. Our hearts go out to everyone affected. We express our gratitude to the firefighters and other public safety officials working to keep us safe. We are touched by communities coming together to check on each other.
