SO MANY IMPROVEMENTS
When you have a home from 1937, you're basically marrying it. That's OK, I'm in love with and have committed to improving it. In fact, EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR from rentals goes to keeping it up, cleaning, Camille's management, and making it better in some way.

For example, this summer we've added central AC. We see where this climate change is going and we don't like it. We're adapting. The AC industry is backed up with supply-chain issues, though, and it's been a process to get it all going (downstairs cold! upstairs hot!) but our wonderful contractor, Don, had some good fixes. We're up and running!

There's also a new garden in play that Bizzyland has been working on. Irrigation is no joke up here and every time I plant something or take care of the garden I feel like I'm giving a gift to my guests and my future self.

This serene three-bedroom cottage is suitable for families, groups of friends, or as a romantic getaway -- and we welcome dogs! We're a few minutes to Lake Arrowhead Village & Lake Gregory; just 15 miles to Snow Valley Mountain Resort; and nearby Crestline is an up-and-coming funky hamlet for shopping and dining.

This 1938 cottage has all the charm you'd expect (wood floors, bay window, library, games, treetops view, picnic tables in the fenced yard) with full amenities for modern living (wi-fi, cable, Apple TV, washer and dryer, Alexa). It's surrounded by pine trees, cedars and oak trees for your forest bathing pleasure; or stay home and cook, read, knit, watch movies, and play games.

You wake up in any of three upstairs bedrooms, and pad downstairs to put the tea or coffee on (your choice of press, pour-over or regular coffee maker). Eat breakfast at the maple kitchen counter, then walk the dog in along the forest trail at the end of the road, or take off for your mountain adventures.

Come home and cook in the full kitchen (stocked with your basics as well as a few fun surprises), or use the grill out back, then flip on the party lights outside and enjoy dinner. If it's chilly, fire up the wood stove in the parlor and eat at the round oak table. Then retire to the comfy leather couch in the living room and play games, watch a movie, or simply relax.
