Visit Loudon County worked in partnership with our friends at Visit Monroe TN to put on another successful year of the East Tennessee Polar Plunge! We are proud to present T-BART (Tellico Boaters Assistance Response Team) with a $1,500 donation from this year's proceeds.

Over 50 brave individuals jumped into Tellico Lake on New Years Day to plunge into 2025 and support a great cause! This year's event was hosted in Loudon County at the Poplar Springs Boat Ramp. ❄️🐧

We plunged into 2025 with the annual East TN Polar Plunge!! Great turnout for a great cause!! All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit T-BART (Tellico Boaters Assistance Response Team) and their efforts to keep Tellico Lake boaters safe and assisted when in need. Thank you to our friends at Visit Monroe TN for being such great partners - we will see all of the brave plungers again in 2026! ❄️

THIS SATURDAY, August 17th in Loudon, TN !!! Join the City of Loudon for their Annual Loudon Riverfest with events beginning at 8 am and culminating with Fireworks at dark.

🚣‍♀️Loudon Riverfest River Paddle Event! Paddlers will glide through the Tennessee River in our exciting kayak paddle event beginning at 10 am. at the dam and will end at the Ferry Street boat ramp in Loudon.

🚗The Loudon County Shriners Club and Knox Dubz will present Dubz on the River as part of Loudon Riverfest, 8 am - 5 pm, with awards at 2 pm, on Hackberry Street, under the bridge. Register a car - $20, General Admission - $10. Air-cooled and water-cooled Volkswagen Show and Swap Meet.

🎆Loudon Riverfest will begin at 5 pm, Legion Park, 201 Ferry Street, Loudon.
