Beautiful week in the Caribbean island Curacao….located just above South America, out of the hurricane zone during hurricane season. The cutest Dutch architect, friendly people, safe for city walking and trying local cuisine. We enjoyed rooftop restaurants, local brewery, an excursion to an uninhabited isles by catamaran, beach hopped to 4 local beaches, swam with turtles, did incredible snorkeling and saw baby beach pigs. We swam more on this trip than I can recall, including a couple night ocean swims- safe in our resort beach (amazing!) I did overcome a random accident and stepped on a poisonous stone fish (on Klein Island) which took me out for an afternoon, but was back to the beach the next day. The lovely people of the island took good care of me. Highly recommend trying Curacao, several resorts to choose; luxury all inclusive options and non AI options with a rental car for exploration.

Was in training all day with my ahhh-mazing DFT team, but wanted to share pics of this favorite resort in the Dominican Republic where I have 2 couples enjoying this month and a 3rd at their sister property in Cancun next month!
