The Yellow Rose exceeded our expectations! We had a great time in the game room (upstairs family room) with our 3 teens. And the kitchen has all the implements for a great breakfast. We also appreciated your suggestions on restaurants and sights to see. The cemetery had a memorable drive to the top and the river & valley views were amazing! Thank you so much!

So blessed to have had a groom’s wedding party stay the weekend. This is the second time for that this year. Both weddings at the Clarksville Apple Shed I believe. This is exactly what the house could be used for. The whole family coming together and getting ready for a celebration.

The Yellow Rose is collaborating with Gatherings at 601 hosting the Jeremiah Johnson band and it is the night before Louisiana Colorfest on Friday, October 18th, 7pm. Haven't posted for a while, but The Yellow Rose has been extremely busy all summer. Family and class reunions, family funerals, people moving across the country, and The Chuck Wagon Gang! Thank you to the community of Louisiana, Missouri for supporting this vacation rental. We're very proud and humbled to serve this community with hospitality.

Change to the parlor and the blue and white bedroom. Moved a full size bed downstairs. The Yellow Rose has been receiving several requests for a main floor bedroom for guests who are unable to use steps.

What an amazing beautiful drive up The Great River Road (HWY 79) from St Peters up through Louisiana to Hannibal! Wish I had a motorcycle or convertible. Spring time along the Mississippi is breathtaking! Stunning views of flocks of birds migrating North, rolling hillsides of budding trees and flowers, blue skies for miles. Lovely!
