The Yellow Rose is collaborating with Gatherings at 601 hosting the Jeremiah Johnson band and it is the night before Louisiana Colorfest on Friday, October 18th, 7pm. Haven't posted for a while, but The Yellow Rose has been extremely busy all summer. Family and class reunions, family funerals, people moving across the country, and The Chuck Wagon Gang! Thank you to the community of Louisiana, Missouri for supporting this vacation rental. We're very proud and humbled to serve this community with hospitality.

Change to the parlor and the blue and white bedroom. Moved a full size bed downstairs. The Yellow Rose has been receiving several requests for a main floor bedroom for guests who are unable to use steps.

What an amazing beautiful drive up The Great River Road (HWY 79) from St Peters up through Louisiana to Hannibal! Wish I had a motorcycle or convertible. Spring time along the Mississippi is breathtaking! Stunning views of flocks of birds migrating North, rolling hillsides of budding trees and flowers, blue skies for miles. Lovely!

“Hello from Iowa! We traveled here to see the total eclipse. It was FANTASTIC!!! This house was an amazing place to stay. We had 4 high schoolers and 4 adults and we all enjoyed our stay. The house is so unique and beautifully preserved/renovated. We loved cooking in the kitchen and playing hide and seek in the house. If we ever travel this way again, we will definitely rebook. Thank you for your hospitality!”
