Looking at the picture, it doesn't look impressive or important. However, you'd be dismissing the mirror; it's made of peach glass. Due to the oceanic voyages being long, and the ship itself moving up and down with the waves as well as side to side, people tended to get seasick. Peach glass mirrors were installed so when passengers were drunk and/or seasick, if they took a look at themselves in the mirror they would appear normal as opposed to pale.
