Happy AOT Tuesday with our girl livy💘🦋

I chose Kappa Delta because it was a place I could grow into the person I wanted to be. I’ve found the most genuine women who inspire me to become more confident every day. One of my favorite KD memories was when we were waiting after recruitment rounds last August. We started singing to the music in the suite and making chapter tiktoks, and even though we were exhausted from a long day we were just having fun being together. KD gave me the best memories and my best friends, and I’m excited for so much more to come!

“I chose kappa delta because right when I walked in on the first day of recruitment, I felt extremely comfortable. All of the girls in KD were so welcoming and laid back that I felt at home right away. The saying “Go Confidently” stuck with me right off of the bat and is something that I will continue to relate to. I wanna thank KD because I’ve already met some of my best friends and am so so excited to keep growing closer to everyone in the chapter.

Today we celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights! This festival is about spreading hope, prosperity, and knowledge throughout 5 days of celebration and signifies the triumph of good over evil. Sister gave us a little more insight on the holiday!!

“My favorite Diwali tradition is doing a fireworks celebration with my friends and family! This is a time for us to spend time together and spread light and success to everyone around us.” On Saturday, November 12th, Jalsa is hosted in the SAC. Jalsa is a huge cultural show at UofL that celebrates Diwali and will also feature a dance performance by Cardinal Saathiya!

KD 💛’s THE GIRL SCOUTS

We were so happy to have our Girl Scouts come to our suite this year! Promoting confidence in young girls is one of the biggest components of our philanthropy, it fills our hearts with so much love being able to hang out with them for the day! By coming here today and creating mood boards and affirmation jars the Girl Scouts earned their “KD badge” and “Feel Good About Myself” badges!!
