We were so sad to hear this...

We’re deeply saddened by the passing of a Louisville legend – Alan Rupp. Alan was an icon in this city and a great friend to the Kentucky Derby Museum. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Alan’s family and friends during this overwhelming time. He will certainly be missed.

The hat was stolen back in December. It's the first case of vandalism since it was finished 15 years ago.
