Staying in house for this one! My family and I explored New York City over Fourth of July weekend 🎆 We took the weekend to explore The Met, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, support local businesses at a flea market in Dumbo, catch an Off Broadway show, and take on Times Square!

From the excitement of Times Square to the mellow vibes of Dumbo, this trip had something for all of us! Nothing could stop us from taking on NYC, even getting lost in the subway….🤭

For those wondering, “The Play That Goes Wrong” was a 12/10!

It’s hard to believe we’re getting married in a month! I can’t wait to smile and cry and laugh and dance the weekend away with all of our favorite people ✨

Getting ready for the next trip and still dreaming about the last (and realizing I never posted about it)

Me: “Is the bed-facing-the-window-thing just gimmicky?”
Patrick: “No, definitely not. This is awesome.”

Avalon Waterways took care of us on the Danube! We visited small towns we probably wouldn’t have made it to otherwise, and we got to see the most beautiful little places from the river as we sailed along. Enjoy some shots of the ship, us enjoying ourselves, our wine tastings since we were on a “wine discovery” departure, and a couple of my favorite meals ✨

Certified Travel Counselor ✨

This summer I completed the CTC program through The Travel Institute, which requires 5 years of travel industry experience and consists of 10 courses, an exam, and a white paper submission. Becoming an independent travel advisor during COVID and beginning to work from my home office was not an easy transition, but it has been worth it! This course built upon my experience and better equipped me for owning and managing my own independent travel business, and I’m so excited to have this certificate hanging in my office. I couldn’t have done it without my amazing and support friends, family, and clients, so thank you!

Just finished up travel documents for a group of 6 couples traveling to Jamaica in a couple weeks, and I’m so relieved they don’t have any testing requirements!

Our Alaskan Cruise on the NCL Bliss was a dream! Here are just some of the highlights:

• Staying at the beautiful and seeing Pike Place Market, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and going up in the Space Needle in Seattle

• Experiencing Mendenhall Glacier and a whale watching tour (eating goldfish and drinking a local brew) in Juneau

• Enjoying a local coffee shop and brewery in Skagway

• Cruising Glacier Bay and watching the glaciers and wildlife go by from our balcony

• Walking around Ketchikan

• Seeing Victoria lit up at night and trying some fresh oysters

It was an incredible trip! I think my mom and aunt had a great time as well. Who’s interested in going next year? 🙋🏻‍♀️

The Florida Panhandle and these sunsets will always have a special place in my heart! I love spending time with family here. With a little more hesitancy toward international travel than usual, these beaches are a perfect domestic destination!

I’m also so excited to get to see the two Virtuoso properties in the area, The Henderson and WaterColor Inn, which I’ll share more about soon 👀
