Santa has had a long night and needs to relax the only way he knows how...📖
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Trail, not a distiller was stirring, not even a scale.
The barrels were stacked in the rickhouse with care, in hopes that fine bourbon soon would be there.
Santa was nestled, his work nearly done, the sleigh packed with toys for all to have fun.
But he sighed with a thought as he polished his boot, “This year’s been a long one—I need some pursuit!”
With a twinkle of mischief and bourbon in mind, he called the Kentucky Bourbon Boys, just in time.
Their booking team answered, all ready to go, “Let’s plan the perfect tour, with a festive glow!”
By Christmas Eve night, the plans were all set, a post-holiday tour Santa wouldn’t forget.
Distilleries chosen, with tastings galore, a feast of Kentucky’s finest to explore.
The day after Christmas, the sleigh got a rest, and Santa was chauffeured by KBB’s best.
With a smile and a joke, the guide led the way, through bourbon-soaked history on this special day.
The reindeer stood waiting, their work done at last, while Santa enjoyed a new kind of “flight” at last.
No sleigh bells or chimneys, just glasses to pour, as he tasted the bourbons he’d long waited for.
Santa sipped slowly, from oak barrels aged, and with each fine pour, his stresses assuaged.
From Maker’s to Woodford, his spirits were bright, each stop a new wonder, a true bourbon delight.
At lunch he proclaimed, with a hearty Ho, ho! "This is exactly what I needed, you know...
The flavors, the stories, the kindness and cheer, will recharge me completely for another great year!”
So now, as you toast on this holiday night, raise your glass to Santa, and bourbon’s delight.
