Just got back from a trip to the beautiful St. Louis! Although my focus is on theme parks and river cruises, it is also nice to visit family and friends for a change of pace. This family road trip included a visit to the always stunning Gateway Arch! Did you know you can take a ride up to the top for some amazing views?! There are many other fun places to check out including the St. Louis Zoo, and the hands on St. Louis Science Center - both are free to visit but you do have to pay a small fee to park for the day.
While checking out the park grounds at the Arch I was able to see a Viking river cruise ship departing from their stop! A river cruise is a great way to check out St. Louis and many other amazing locations along the Mississippi River! Travel Tip: You can save money by bringing reusable water bottles for each person in your group!
-Our family used stainless steel bottles that were a different color for each person and we filed them with ice and even refrigerated the bottles to make them extra cold! We put them in the bottom of our daughter's stroller, but if you don't have a stroller you can even find collapsable water bottles online that fold really small when empty!

I have found anti-blister balm put on your feet where shoes or sandals rub your feel and ankles can also prevent blisters (you can find it online!).
