I backed the Bushwhacker right up to the water. Pic doesn't really do it justice, but while cooking my meal, I noticed the moon reflecting off the water. Very peaceful evening 👍

Took the Gladiator up the Greenie Peak Trail today. It was a very rough trail. No water to cross, but I felt sure I was going to high center a few times. Up the mountain and back down like a champ. I've had a very good few days. The Bushwhacker has been great. I've been cooking on my campfire and my little Coleman stove to save propane for the heater in the Bushwhacker. 30 degree lows at night - yeah, I like the heater. Lol.

61 degrees in Red River NM. Probably run some Jeep trails tomorrow, and maybe squeeze in a little Trout fishing. Cooked a steak and some veggies right on the camp fire tonight, trying to save propane for 30 degree low tonight. The Bushwhacker has been great, but the wind on Tues was awful while driving. Fought the Bushwhacker the whole day. I'll post throughout the day tomorrow.

Wichita Falls RV Park. Bison hamburger steak and mixed veggies cooking on the Flame King stove. Nice place to RV. Quiet, and nice amenities. On to Amarillo,TX on the 21st. Staying in Red River, NM on the 22nd. Trout fishing and Jeep trails... I'll keep posting. 🙂

Prepping for my week long adventures next week. I'll be doing a lot of driving and really no boondocking. A lot of RV park style camping, but I'll post as I go. I will be in Red River NM for a few days, so be looking for pics and videos. Rainbow Trout fishing and Off-Road with the Gladiator will be the focus... 😉👍

Keep close to Nature’s heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.

Making a little coffee on this nice cool morning. Maiden Voyage of the Bushwhacker. No real hiccups. Slept great. The kitchen in the back is great.

Why the name "Tents, Trails and Trailers"??? You've seen my posts about the tent that fits the Gladiator, you've read about my hiking and biking adventures... But trailers??? I have owned an RV in a past life, and have gained some wisdom through bliss and blisters of dragging an RV across this great country. Also, I might just be in pursuit of a little "tear drop" trailer - stay tuned for how that turns out.
