Passports- My advice is don’t apply for one when you need it- Apply or Renew when you don’t have anything planned!

Passport Cost- $100 for the passport booklet for kids and a $50 fee for processing and photos. $130 for adult passport booklet and $50 processing / photo fee.

🌍We chose to make appointments at the Texas Tech International Cultural center. They have MUCH better hours than the USPS, and I didn’t have to take the boys out of school to do them.

We just renewed the boys passports and here are a few things to know:
💮with kids 16 and younger- they get brand new passports, they are not renewals.
*️⃣ ages 0-15 will receive a passport good for 5 years
📰 when you turn 16, you can get an adult passport good for 10 years

📆 Jackson’s (16) was (renewed) sent off on May 14th. We selected regular processing and we received it on June 20th. He received a 10 year passport.

📅 Jamison (14) and Jaggers (6) passports were “renewed” sent off on May 21st. We selected regular processing and we received them back on June 18th. They both receive 5 year passports.

Now that we have our passports ready- we can book on short notice and not have to worry about getting a passport back in time!!!

🚢Disney Cruise Line released two seasons of thrilling itineraries, spanning sailings from fall 2025 to spring 2026.🎉

Bookings open to the public on June 28, 2024. Clients that are Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club and select other affinity groups may take advantage of the following early booking windows:

Itinerary Details

Four ships, the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Dream, will regularly sail to one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s signature island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, offering voyages filled with even more Disney magic.

Tropical itineraries await with sailings from the Pacific Coast and Gulf of Mexico in late 2025 and early 2026, and a third season of voyages will embark across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific on the Disney Wonder from October 2025 to February 2026.

As part of Disney Cruise Line’s collection of themed sailings, families will make memories on beloved holiday cruises with Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime sailings in September, October, November, and December 2025.

Adventures by Disney Sydney Escapes

Guests on select Australia cruises can explore even more of this magnificent city with an Adventures by Disney Sydney Escape! Whether cruising around Sydney Harbour on a jet boat, going on a cultural walkabout at Fitzroy Falls or getting to know Australia’s wildlife at the Taronga Zoo, guests can be sure it’ll be a totally “bonza” experience on this 4-day/3-night adventure departing Oct. 18, 2025 and Jan. 30, 2026.

These sailings are the least expensive right when they are released for booking! In most regular staterooms, deposit is refundable until final payment.

Donald Duck first appeared in the cartoon The Wise Little Hen on June 9, 1934.

I’ve loved visiting Donald Duck over the years at Walt Disney World. You can currently meet him at all 4 parks and the following character dining experiences:

🍽️ Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park offers Guests the chance to dine with Donald Duck and his pals dressed in their safari gear during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

🍽️ Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort takes Guests on a European culinary adventure with Donald Duck and friends during Breakfast à la Art.

🍽️ At Disney's Contemporary Resort, you'll find Donald Duck and pals dressed in their adorable chef outfits at Chef Mickey's during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

🍽️ Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort allows Guests to dine alongside Donald Duck and pals in their colorful beach attire at Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast.

My personal favorite version of Donald Duck can be found at EPCOT in the Mexico pavilion as one of The Three Caballeros- olé!

New! 🆕 at Walt Disney World!

💯✈️ When there is something new - you can guarantee I’m there to check it out! It’s important to give timely feedback to all of my clients ! I am constantly investing in trips to ensure I’m up to the minute on what my clients need to know for their special vacation!

Last week I saw the brand new drone show at Disney Springs!!!

Honestly- I thought the show was fantastic! Here is what you need to know :

🕦 there are two shows : 9:00pm and 10:45pm(this one is less crowded!

🎑 Viewing is on ONE end of Disney Springs - making is very necessary to watch the show from the grassy knoll beside the House of Blues

📐 The show is projected to an angle- so if you were to try and see it from The Boathouse or Saratoga Springs Resort- you would only see a small portion of it.. from behind.

🚷The exit of the show is a little congested- so be patient!

🍪 Make it a late night and just plan to stop at Gideons Bakery after the show!!!!!

🎠1900 Park Fare Review- this long awaited restaurant reopening was one of the very last of the character meals to reopen. (We are still waiting on 🐸 Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno to reopen)

Pre Covid- 1900 Park Fare was one of the most beloved for Cinderella, Lady Tremaine, Prince Charming, Anastasia and Drizella. It was probably one of the BEST character interactions at Disney they provided.

1900 Park Fare post Covid characters are : Mirabel, Cinderella, Aladdin and Tiana. While the food was good- I struggled to feel and find how the characters flow together. Aladdin was , well… boring. In all honesty- it felt like 4 characters randomly thrown in a room together.

Prime Rib and delicious sides are back on the buffet- along with the famous strawberry soup 🍓 Food was good- Characters and theming were on the struggle bus!

Clear calm water view! Space Mountain was visible from our room- but the castle is hidden behind the grove of trees. The building was nice and quiet- and pretty close to the pool!

☀️ Walt Disney World is HOT! Probably one of the hottest May months I’ve ever been here for! I guess that El Niño year is in full swing!

Ideas to stay 🆒 in the heat 🥵!!!

💧 Bring an insulated water bottle… I have all of the locations of refill stations included in my final packet sheets!

😎 Cool towels- if you forget them at home- Disney has some for sale- but they are the Disney price!

💼 Cooler bags - today I chatted with another guest who tells me they rent a stroller just to haul around their backpack cooler full of waters and Powerades! (Disney prices $5.25 for Powerade, $3.75 for bottled water)

🌫️💦 Pack a mister fan, or a face fan!!!

🌠 Shows- build a few more shows into your day to get in the shade!

☔️ Pray for rain… it cools you off!!!!

Tonga Toast is one of THE BEST things on the menu for breakfast!!!! Banana Stuffed French Toast with a cinnamon sugar crust!

Find it at the quick service - Captain Cooks and then have your breakfast with a view!!!

Have you ever tried the to go pizza counter? Pizza al Taglio had a great walk up pizza kitchen! Complete with wine, water and it was a super fast line!!!

🐠 🌐Who doesn’t love FREE??? Take a look at this Scavenger hunt inside The Seas pavilion at Epcot!!!

Pick up a scavenger hunt book and let your little ones enjoy The Seas aquarium with sticker pages inside that let them identify all of the fish! Located outside the exit of the Finding Nemo ride!!!

One day ticket prices for today at WDW! It is definitely more expensive to buy tickets for just one day! Tip: if you are traveling all the way across the country - buy a multi day ticket!

Summer Traveling …. ✈️ Expect Delays- especially when you are on the afternoon and evening flights! NEVER fly in the day of for a cruise- because you really might miss it! Just remember to pack your patience and if you are in trouble - give your Travel Agent a little whistle! 😙

Did you know that the Genie+ is a fluid price that goes up and down based on season and crowds?

With the newest adjustment to the DAS and much stricter regulations- purchasing the Genie+ is the next suggestion for those who do not qualify for the DAS Pass but would like to skip the standby line.

*Yesterday-5/20/24- the prices were $2 higher than today!

🎃 Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party 2024 👻

This year’s separately ticketed event will kick off Aug. 9 and will take place on select nights through Oct. 31 at Disney World. Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green on May 8. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale May 15.

The dates for 2024 are:

💻🧨Disney tech can be challenging so it’s great to share a brand new, incredibly helpful update to the My Disney Experience app!

Wait times for table service restaurants in the parks and resort hotels are now appearing in the My Disney Experience app! 🍽️📲🥳

Currently at Hollywood Studios, there is only a 10 minute wait for lunch at some of my FAVORITE restaurants including Hollywood and Vine (character dining!), 50’s Prime Time Café, and Hollywood Brown Derby! 😍

YES it’s beneficial to have dining reservations in advance, but sometimes those are hard to come by, plans change and/or you want more flexibility! Guests at Walt Disney World will now have even more dining options at the touch of their thumbs which is always a good thing! 👍

Sometimes the most nerve wracking part of the trip in Mexico is the airport! How do I find my transfer ? Why is everyone approaching me for a taxi?

Here is my advice to remember.. Walk until you see daylight! The pre- scheduled transfer services will be outside of the airport with marked signs. So take a deep breath and just keep walking !!!

What I LOVE about Palace resorts is your private- resort provided transfer is complimentary when you stay 4 nights or longer!
