People always ask me how we keep our campers so clean.
#1. We wash our roofs every year before the season starts. The black streaks come from a dirty roof/gutters. Clean roof means no black streaks. I normally use cheap pressure washer from Harbor freight because its the easiest way to wash it but this year i tried a new product called 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner. It says spray on let sit, then spray off. Just like ALL products I used, it's not that simple. This product was no different. I still had to scrub the surface with a brush but it did come pretty clean. It does have a strong bleach smell, so I will probably just continue using a power washer.
#2 our units are washed at least 3 times every month during the rental season.
This cleaning process keeps the dirt and mold from staining the sidewall. Alot of people think that when they wash their roof, it should come out super clean and bright white. That is just not true.
I will also coat the roof once per year with 303 protectant. It's like armor-all but made specifically for rv rubber roofs

To get the bus: Park in the main parking lot at the entrance of Ludington State Park. Follow the signage to the state park office. There will be a tent where you can pay and wait for the bus to arrive. The last bus leaves Big Sable at 5:00 p.m.
