🌧️ Well....there are some things you just can't control. If you know us, you can imagine how heartbreaking it was to make this decision to cancel one of our favorite events. The rain is very unpredictable all day and we don't want any sick kiddos or a sick Santa before Christmas from being out in it. We are sorry and appreciate all those who were to be involved in this magical day. There are still ways you can support our chosen local non-profit, Hayden's Hope, this holiday season by visiting their website at www.haydens-hope.com! Our sweet friend at Sami Kay Cookies will be posting her beautiful kits later for purchase - you don't want to miss those!

Also, be on the watch because we will be posting our exclusive Silos local honey, Save the Farm apparel and Preslee's Christmas paintings she was so excited to sell today! Our little family truly appreciates your support and love.

There's so much magic ✨ going on behind the scenes as we prepare for our 6th annual community Christmas event benefiting Hayden's Hope!

Mark your calendars for this Sunday, December 15th from 1-3 as we share the Christmas spirit with kiddos in our communities! They will get to enjoy photos with Santa Morris (you take with phone or camera), cookie decorating with Sami Kay Cookies, personalized hand print ornaments by Tonya Ross, Santa letter station, make reindeer food, create a bookmark for your nightly stories, play in the snow, enjoy the family Photo Booth and warm up with a yummy coffee or hot chocolate with Montana Coffee Company!

We are asking for a $10 donation per car if you are able that will support all the amazing work Hayden's Hope is doing in our communities.

We will share more sneaks later and can't wait to see you soon!

S A N T A at T H E S I L O S | 2024 Beneficiary!

We are so excited to announce that Dennis and I have chosen Hayden's Hope as our 2024 Christmas event beneficiary. If you've followed us for a while you will know how much this non-profit means to us and the amazing Harwell/Hammons family behind it! As you enter the magic of our 6th annual event you will pay $10/per car in which proceeds will be given to Hayden's Hope for their future events and speaking engagements. Want to know why we love this local non-profit so much, read on...

"Hayden’s Hope was established after the loss of our son, Hayden C. Hammons, who died from su***de in October 2018. Our family knew that we had to make sure something beneficial came from our tragedy and the scholarship account was formed which in turn became Hayden’s Hope.

The mission of Hayden's Hope is to provide the message of salvation and hope to the youth of Tennessee and to offer scholarships to area seniors pursuing higher education. Helping through the hard times and providing motivational speakers in school system environments for youth to have open conversations is another outreach.

Based on the foundation of John 16:33, at all times, its message is "There is always HOPE."

🎅🏼 Santa Morris is coming to Lynchburg once again as we celebrate our 6th annual Christmas event benefiting a local non-profit (to be announced soon) at The Silos! We are switching things up this year and asking that all cars pay a $10 entry fee instead of bringing donation items for our selected non-profit. We have done so much good and brought so much joy these last 5 years and hope to do the same for years to come!

You don't want to miss this magical annual event for the kiddos filled with crafts, cookies, coffee, Santa and more!

Oh just humbled to see our sweet Silos on the @tnvacation main page for "Farm Stays" in Middle Tennessee! What an honor to see our God size dream become a destination for those who live and visit our beautiful state. 🧡

1 0 0 ! ✨ The fact that so many people from around the world would spend their hard earned money to stay with us at The Silos is not lost on us. Every single time someone books a stay, Dennis + I always praise God and immediately express our gratitude. When you begin a journey like we have been on this past year, it is hard to see the whole vision. I believe God doesn't always allow us to see the whole puzzle because most of us would quit before the promise. These little grain bins are so much more than a place to stay- they are continually prayed over, filled with God's timely and merciful provision, a vessel for sharing the importance of agriculture and a place of rest. We are so thankful for each of you who have sown into us over the last year and for those to come. Owning businesses have been the hardest thing we've ever done, but the love + support along the way keeps our eyes focused on the calling every day. Our world is in turmoil, but thank you Lord that our hope doesn't come from this world. We pray for hundreds of more stays at The Silos as an escape from the chaos and a brief chance to feel something greater than our circumstances. All glory to God as He continues to bring such amazing people to our little farm- our hearts are full of gratitude and thanks. Xo, The Whites

Cue the confetti! ✨ Today marks ONE year since we opened The Silos + fully surrendered the details to God. What an incredibly amazing year it has been filled with so many beautiful people, celebrations + stories. We had no idea what blessings would come when we so vulnerably opened "Duke" and "Dolly", but we are in awe of the people and opportunities God has placed in our lives. We truly left all we knew as far as comfortability and lept feet first into this vision, and to be honest, most days we are still learning to trust as we are free falling. If anything, we want others to know that God is faithful, He fulfills His promises and He is always there to catch us if we are willing to jump. Thank you so much to everyone who has trusted us with your journey- far and wide! We will never forget those who had us covered in prayer and re-lit our flames when they grew dim through this process- you know who you are. We love you guys and can't wait to see what year TWO brings as God continues to expand His territory through this vision in so many FUN ways.....there's always more to come!
