New for 2024. Obviously, not everyone is interested in my Bible stuff or the Jesus stuff that I post here. I get it. Not everybody gets it. Whatever. I didn't get it until I was thirty-seven years old. Anyway, for 2024 I am focusing exclusively on Bible Book John, Chapter 14. Everything that I post about the Bible and the Jesus story for the next fifty-two weeks will be linked to that single chapter. So, sit back, relax and here we go, LORD permitting... John 14:1 He believeth in God that believeth in Christ, and there is no other way to confirm our minds in greatest distresses. 🚂

"Pistachio! Pistachio!" Faro and Libro scurried up the narrow circular staircase to the top of lighthouse. "Pistachio! They're gone!" The sudden commotion rising up the tower like a steam whistle had caught Pistachio by surprise during his Saturday morning painting time and he forced himself to set the paint brush back into the cloudy cup of rinse water. "Pistachio!" Faro came through the doorway first. Pistachio turned to face the interruption. "Whew. I'm dizzy. And my thighs hurt." Faro and Libro now filled the doorway together. "The new janitor, Pistachio, she removed the Medieval Bible Collection from the Veritas Lounge." "She says she has to paint the shelves," Libro added, "but I don't believe her. She won't tell us where she put them." Pistachio paused and turned his back to them, looking out of the lighthouse windows that circled the room and prayerfully gazing towards the sea. "Faro, the powers and principalities can't attack Jesus directly. They must attack the story ABOUT Jesus." A large wave crashed against the rocks below. "What is this new janitor's name?" - from PISTACHIO, the online novel-in-progress that has brought an entire community together for the purpose of building a better group home in Lynn, Massachusetts before 2029. 🚂

2023 was a good year. Settled into a new home. Memoir writing class. New car. New job. Returned to Roman Catholic church as a Reformed counter-counter spy. Blessed to have the same six digits in my abbreviated d.o.b..
Stronger friendship connections through social media. Consistent passion for justice and more clear focus on how to gather a community to build a better group home.

For many people, it's not "All Good." This year one social media theme is The Year of First Withouts. I've been so busy writing PISTACHIO this year that it just occurred to me that this Christmas Eve is a first without. "Faro, your sister started out as a volunteer at the hospital. She didn't know what the future would bring for her and we don't know what the future will bring for us, either. Just suit up and show up and the next move will become apparent." - Pistachio

2024 Memoir Goal: Make peace with the financial wreckage of my past, get 'current' in the present and save cash for the future, or what's left of it for me, anyway. The current paradigm shift in brain and neurology health caring has produced many testimonials from real people telling true stories about recovery, prosperity and creativity driving the movement towards building a better society, especially better congregate living communities. 🚂
