About Tia
Before I became a travel advisor, I planned travel for friends and family in one form or another for most of my adult life. I dreamed of becoming a travel agent when I was younger, but they seemed to have gone out of style. I was content to scour the web for my travel planning and instead became a massage therapist.
When my body decided I had done my last massage, my cousin introduced me to Andrea and Anywhere But Here Travel. I started as a file clerk and rapidly worked my way up to Office Administrator or “Awesome Office Gal” as Andrea often refers to me. A year later I completed the Travel Consultant Course and passed the Travel Associate exam in April 2018.
Since then I have completed several specialized training courses and earned certifications with cruise lines, destinations and hotels. Now I get to use my years of experience planning travel and my newly acquired knowledge to help other people have amazing, expertly arranged travel experiences.
