- It pays to use a Travel Advisor! We know the travel rules better than TSA agents! Our client informed us as she was passing through TSA in Phoenix, AZ that the agent said her Enhanced WA State License was not REAL ID compliant. NOT TRUE! We messaged our client that her ID was in fact REAL ID compliant and gave her the links to prove it. She called the TSA hotline and gave them the feedback and they were very happy to make some training adjustments. WA State (and an handful of others) follow a different method of identifying that they are REAL ID compliant than most other states. (see photo)

Quoted from the TSA REAL ID FAQ, "Enhanced Driver’s Licenses (EDL) issued by Washington, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, and Vermont are considered acceptable alternatives to REAL ID-compliant cards and will also be accepted for official REAL ID purposes. If you are arriving into LAX on a connecting flight via American, Alaska, or Air Canada, they offer you this important travel tip which will save you approximately 30 to 60 minutes. You are able to do this by using the time saving tunnel/airbridge connector directly from terminals 4, 5 and 6 into the departure area of the Bradley International terminal.

Please note: Your luggage must be checked through to Papeete from your domestic point of origin.

Wherever your dreams take you, she can make that dream vacation a reality! Monica enjoys curating amazing travel experiences for her clients.

Monica’s love of travel started at a young age. Her first trip was when she was 6 or 7 years old and it was to visit her grandparents in Hawaii. She visited them almost every summer until she was in her early teens. On her first visit, her mom escorted her but after that, she traveled alone. She made friends with the flight attendants, airline pilots and the other passengers. It set the foundation for her love of travel and Hawaii will always have a special place in her heart.

There have been many travels since her childhood which have included Sweden, Hawaii, Mexico, Disneyland, Dominican Republic, Vienna, Italy, Tahiti, and Japan.
