Well, it is not Saturday...
Salem update October 5 & 6
Staying at the Lakeside Inn, Wakefield Mass**different hotel than the past 2 years
Hale Transportation out of Watertown with Rich as our driver
Leave time on Saturday
4:45 am Watertown Depot on Marble Street
5:10 am Copenhagen Fire Hall** you need to check with the fire dept. where it is best to park if leaving your vehicle
5:30 am Tops Plaza on the very end where the old McDonald's was
5:50 am Cliff's Market, Port Leyden
6:05 am Tops Plaza Boonville

We will stop once on route for morning refreshments which are included with your trip cost. Traffic gets very congested the closer we get to Salem. We are hoping to arrive in Salem close to 12- 12:30. Rich will drop off near the Hawthorne Hotel, 18 Washington Square West. So check your maps because there is so much too do in this area and it also leads up to the center of town where the shops and restaurants are located. You; have until 8:30 to sight see, ghost walks, etc. on your own. Rich will pick you back up in the same area at 8:30 pm.
The hotel is 12 miles from Salem. In the morning, the hotel has a breakfast buffet included with your cost. Room gratuity and also Rich's thank you is also included in the cost of the trip. The plan is to check out by 8:30 am and head back to Salem. Rich will once again drop off by the Hawthorne Hotel and also for those interested, drop off at the House of Seven Gables and the oldest candy store in the US is located across the street. Rich will pick up there about 2 hrs. after drop off and take you to the Hawthorne Hotel area where you can enjoy the rest of Sunday before heading back home @ 3:00. On the way home, you will stop for a quick fast food dinner. The goal is to be back in Boonville around 9:30-10:00...it all depends on traffic and weather.

happy Friday or more like TGIF!!! I hope everyone that has been effected by the flooding/ wind storm are doing better today than Wednesday. So much damage to our communities and also, so much volunteer assistance.

Just wanted to let you all know tomorrow, Saturday, I will have updates on Salem & Lancaster. Currently, we do not have 30 people for the show in September but I am still trying.

Also, for those that have sent messages regarding balances, I should be able to answer you all by private message tomorrow also.

And on another note, I donated 2 $100 gift certificates for future Yellow Rose Tour trips for my sister's benefit..if you would like to purchase a sheet of raffle tickets, they are 5$ for 25 tickets. Last call for MAY WE ALL, a new country music musical at the Rev Theater in Auburn NY....Tuesday September 24th 169$ includes show, dinner, morning refreshments, driver's gratuity. We are going to check out a neat antique store in Syracuse in the morning, "Behind the Iron Gate"....lunch will be on your own....We need 30 riders to make it happen..please share with your country music fans...and check out the movie...this sounds like a great musical.
