Yes, Virginia there is a Santa Claus…or least there IS in Wolcott, and he is bringing
a Christmas Concert to Main Street! Keeping the 24 year tradition alive are a dedicated group of Central New York musicians organized by Christopher Kenyon with sponsorship from Lyons National Bank (LNB). 🎅

Slated for 3 PM on Sunday, December 8th at the First Presbyterian Church, 11988 W Main Street, Wolcott, the concert is free and open to the public and is appropriate for all ages!
Chris Kenyon has enlisted veteran musicians Joe Cortini and Matt Vacanti to direct the show; Vacanti will serve as arranger/bandleader.

They are bringing in a five piece “house band” that will serve as a supporting cast
for instrumentalists and vocalists from Buffalo to Boston, with styles ranging
from Blue Grass to Jazz and Classical. “As always when Cortini and Vacanti
collaborate you can expect world-class music. They’ve shared a couple highlights
about the show, and I can tell you this is a show not to be missed” noted curator
Chris Kenyon.

In addition to Cortini and Vacanti, local bluesman Larry Kyle returns to the stage alongside guitarist Carl Lovell, with Jojo Cortini on piano. The Vacanti sisters-Cecilia (fiddle) and Vanessa (vocals) also return to featured roles in the show. A vocal ensemble from the Wolcott School District will make their debut this year.

Cash donations are accepted, which will benefit the First Presbyterian Food
Pantry that serves over 1400 families in the Wolcott area. The show has a run
time of approximately 90 minutes, with an intermission for cookies and

Get ready for a festive night filled with holiday cheer! ☃ The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra will put on a Holiday Concert on December 6th at 7:00pm at the Newark Senior High School. The talented Newark High School Jazz and Downbeat groups will also put on a pre-concert show at 6:00pm in the High School Gym. 🎄🎼

Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $7 for students. Purchase yours at the Newark & Lyons Branches of Lyons National Bank or at the door the day of the performance.

The Bay Street will host their annual Holiday Fling on Sunday December 8th from 11am to 3pm. They have joined forces with the SPFD Ladies Auxiliary as well as several other Sodus Point Businesses to bring a day of shopping and fun to Sodus Point. Be sure to keep an eye out for a list of participating locations when you arrive at The Holiday Fling. 🎄

While The Bay Street's dining room will be closed during the event, they will be offering a small bar menu as well as their famous martini bar menu! 🍸

Barge one carrying the Ralph Wilson Park Pedestrian Bridge has passed through Lock 27 in historic downtown Lyons on their way to Palmyra. The tug will then return to Mays Point to transport barge two through Newark later today or tomorrow morning. Be sure to follow Carver Companies to stay up to date on the latest ETA’s.

The Kings Have Arrived! 🐟 The net pens were ready as the DEC hatchery truck pulled into the parking lot of Krenzer Marine on Sodus Bay. The 90,000 king salmon fingerlings came on schedule...10:30 am Thursday April 11th.
