We encourage an intimate relationship with a living Savior through prayer time, bible reading, and worship hour in a nondenominational setting that seeks to embrace the particular Christian faith of our residents. We welcome all people regardless of their faith, and do not require participation in any of our activities. In addition our residents may enjoy a wide variety of activities including; pottery, gardening, woodworking, fabric crafts, music, karaoke, fitness activities, classes in a variety of endeavors, movie nights, dance, bingo, and social events, here and within the larger community. We regularly plan safe outings in natural settings such as Roque Bluffs State Park, which is right down the road from our home, and other local nature sites to encourage enjoyment of God’s creation. Even at Flower Cottage our outdoor setting is vibrantly alive with flowering plants, green lawns, and quaint places to sit outside and walk among pleasant gardens. We encourage enjoyment of fresh air and sunshine and have both open air and screened in areas for sitting and recreation. We want life here to be fun, cheerful, playful, healthful, spirited, restful, peaceful, enriching, and rewarding.
