Hello riders and Four Corners Park supporters. I'm reaching out to let you know about a few changes to the Maine Four Corners Experience Tour.
Nothing major except starting March 1st we will have to raise the cost of the Experience tour to $55 instead of $50. Why?
The shipping.
We ship your finishers package via USPS. A one shirt package used to cost 6.50...It is now close to $9. A two shirts package used to cost 8.50...It is now $12.00, Ridiculous but hey it is what it is. Our cost for the shirt is $18, shipping $9, add ink, paper etc. and we are almost at $30 leaving us with $20 for a net revenue.
The park primary revenue is the tour. We will try to cut cost here and there, but it is what it is. We are able to keep the pavers price the same for now because we have a wonderful engraver that believes in our cause. Although the cost of utilities and insurance doubled, we will try to swing it with the $5 increase on the tour. Hope you all understand.
Still not sure as for the cost of our shirt sold on site at the park. However, it will affect the cost of the online merchandise.
It has nothing to do with the political changes the country is experiencing. The USPS makes their own prices. Thank you for understanding and supporting us. Please do not use this post to vent about your politic views. Be kind, be a rider, be neutral.

We’ve always known our snowfighters are heroes, but David Bing from our Fort Kent crew just proved it.

David was plowing on Soucy Hill in Fort Kent recently. It was still dark, but he noticed some tracks going off the road. David looked closer and saw a light flashing off in the distance. He then heard someone yelling for help. David found a man whose car had gone several hundred yards off the road. The driver couldn’t open the car doors and had been stuck there for several hours. He was banged up and cold. David gave the man his jacket and gloves, called emergency services, and stayed on the scene until more help arrived.

“To me it’s not a big deal,” David told us. “I’m just working and doing what I was supposed to do. He was just lucky I was there and saw him.”

David is currently on his second stint working for MaineDOT, having most recently joined us last April. He has some experience as a first responder after spending several years working for a local fire department.
