It was a crazy 24 hours courtesy of Hurricane Idalia. The condo is fine, but there is a lot of sand in the parking lot, pool and Gulf Blvd.

Currently under mandatory evacuation orders, our guests have left, and we're making preparations for Hurricane Idalia!! Optimistically anticipating that the impact of the storm surge will not be too severe.

So thankful we avoided the impact of Hurricane Ian! We are looking forward to our first guest on Sunday. The condo was spared!

Nothing like a hurricane to keep things interesting. We finished having our new closet and shower doors installed this week.

The condo is coming together with our first guests arriving in 3 weeks- we finished off the “shark bedroom” (2nd bedroom) with new bunk beds and a new pillow top mattress. We also had the entire condo repainted to compliment the beach life. We also made time to enjoy some of the great restaurants within walking distance of the condo. The fun has begun!!!

We started the process of adding new furniture and adding our nautical touches to make this the most comfortable and desirable condo on the Gulf coast. It will take a few weeks, but we are starting to take reservations for future guests.
