Hi friends. I just wanted to reach out and share this with all of you as unfortunately it could come back to affect you as well.

As some of you know, I got in a bad car accident almost 2 years ago and have been dealing with some brain issues ever since. Well I have unfortunately JUST gotten some answers last week as to what’s happening. And it’s seizures. 😭

Now, I’ve reached out to my bosses as to how to move forward with this.. and there’s a few reasons as to why. I believe full heartedly in transparency. So here goes.

I am having multiple seizures a day. But unfortunately I don’t know when I have them.

When I have them I completely black out. I have 0 memory of what happens during them. BUT I apparently have full on conversations, phone calls, and have even driven while having them.

SO I am coming to you. Because obviously this can unfortunately severely affect my business as 99% of this job is communication. If I am at all talking and not making sense. I may be having a seizure. So this is something you should know of someone you are putting your vacation in the hands of! And I completely understand if you’re not comfortable with that.

I am in the beginning days of this journey and am on day 5 of my first kind of medication. From what I understand it can take years to figure this out but I won’t give up. This job is my baby and I will fight through this but I also accept what I am dealt with too. This is going to be a long journey but ready to fight this fight!
