Yesterday on the evening scenic tour we had an up-close encounter with a Bald Eagle. While we were watching an Eagle perched in a tree along the shore another one swooped down and landed on a log 1 boat length away from us and then proceeded to eat it's fish dinner. It was as close as I can ever imagine coming to an Eagle in the wild. We were so lucky. I never get tired of watching them along the river. Capt Paul

Thank you to everyone that rode with us this weekend. Bad weather held off long enough to get the tours in and even the Bald Eagles cooperated. I'd like to believe the Eagles were happy to see the big yellow boat back on the river. We did get heavy rain yesterday afternoon and last night and now the river is forecast to rise 7 feet with heavy debris expected. Since your safety is always our number 1 priority we have cancelled the tours for Tuesday May 28th but expect to be back on the river Weds. Capt Paul & Capt Jasper
