Matthew and I had the most wonderful lunch at Enchante on Disney Cruise Lines’s Wish. We enjoyed the Collection which is a ten course surprise menu specially crafted by 3 Michelin-starred Chef Arnaud Lallement—of L’Assiette Champenoise, near Reims, France. We were both able to try new and wonderful things, all of which i woukd eat again.

2025 DisneyLand packages open today. If you’ve got Walt’s park on your radar don’t miss out on booking early. My family had a blast at DL and actually prefer it over WDW. There’s so many characters roaming around, and it’s super fun to see Mr. Disney’s original plans. There’s also actually more rides in the two parks than the 4 WDW parks combined.

Confession… I don’t like thrill rides. Roller coasters are a no go for me, I get sick, and generally don’t like the feeling of the Gs, or the feeling of falling. I’ve always been this way. I love going to Disney, they have TONS of rides for me, and I’ve even gotten a little braver over the years. I will ride flight of passage, I even look forward to it. However, I will still close my eyes and hold my breath during all transitions on Soarin’ even though I love it.

Why am I telling you this? Because…Universal Studios terrifies me. 😂 But, here are three attractions that I love there. 1. The Wizarding World, but no I don’t ride the rides except for The Hogwarts Express. So why do I love it? Um are you kidding? The immersive theming in these areas are incredible. It helps to be a fan of course, but even if you aren’t really in to the stories, you cannot deny the pure magic they built here. 2. Seuss Landing. Not only will I ride every ride here… ok it’s built for young children but that’s pretty much the rides I like… but I can fan girl about the beautiful theming here as well. I grew up with Seuss, I still love Seuss, and the colors just make me happy. 3. The World Famous Studio Tour … this one is at Universal Studios Hollywood, and it’s the only ride I rode there (Mario wasn’t open yet), and… it’s AMAZING. Even though it does have its thrilling moments they were short enough that I didn’t die, and so fun.

In short, even though rides may not be for me, Universal brings an extremely immersive experience that can be appreciated by all. I’m extremely excited for EPIC Universe to be opening next year, particularly for The Isle of Berk (How to Train Your Dragon), but I know I will enjoy discovering the rest of it too.
