"We decided to stay on the ranch for my son's 3rd birthday. He loves trains and animals, and Buffalo Creek had all that and more! We had a great time staying in the caboose and doing activities around the ranch. We also had a wonderful time traveling to all the local towns like Waynesville, Bryson City, Cherokee, and more. The ranch is a short drive to so many mountain towns. Cheryl was easy to get ahold of and super helpful. Due to Hurricane Helen, all the maps still say the roads are closed. I got in touch with Cheryl and confirmed all roads were open and the best route to take. I'm so glad we could stay on the ranch, especially considering how Helene has affected WNC. We will be back and hope to make this a yearly vacation spot. Cheryl and her husband Jeff were so friendly and accommodating. I suggest you book your next vacation here! They are open and easy to get to. Plus, their property is so beautiful and peaceful. It's the perfect place for families with children."
