As we continue to recover from Hurricane Helene, we want to send a huge thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Your support has truly warmed our hearts! ❤️

Maggie Valley is bursting with vibrant fall colors, cooler temperatures, and stunning blue skies, just in time for the **Fall Arts & Crafts Show** on October 19 & 20. Our shops, restaurants, attractions, and outdoor adventures are excited to welcome you back! 🎨🍂

While some areas are still recovering, Maggie Valley is ready to greet you with open arms! 🤗

Please note that some favorite activities might be affected: The **Blue Ridge Parkway** in NC is still closed for cleanup, so the hiking trails there are also unavailable. But don’t worry—there are plenty of other trails to explore! 🌲 The **Great Smoky Mountains National Park** is open, though **Cataloochee Valley** (home to the elk) is currently closed. The **Oconaluftee Visitor Center** in nearby Cherokee is a fantastic spot to catch a glimpse of the elk during early mornings or late evenings. 🦌 And make sure to stop by **Soco Falls**—it’s a beautiful detour!

Looking ahead, the **Cataloochee Ski Area** will soon be making snow for skiers to enjoy! 🎿 The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are the perfect time to visit Maggie Valley. Whether with family or friends, a cozy hotel room or vacation rental will make your holidays merry and bright. 🎄✨ Be sure to make your reservations soon, as space fills up fast!

Labor Day is right around the corner, so please plan on visiting the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds on August 31st and September 1st for the Labor Day Arts & Crafts Festival sponsored by the Maggie Valley Chamber of Commerce. There will be over 120 vendors, so come out and see all the wonderful items available. Admission and parking are free!!
