Yesterday, I turned 59 (I know, I look good!) and it got me thinking about the legacy I'm leaving behind. I believe many of us reflect on this as we grow older.

I've been thinking a lot about the real significance of leaving a legacy and how I want to make a lasting impact on this world. I stumbled upon a quote that really speaks to me.

I've just started reading "Different: Escaping the Competitive Herd." Even though I'm only 18 pages in, Youngme Moon is already dropping truth bombs on overcoming competition with typical marketing strategies.

How do you decide whom to accept for a LinkedIn connection request?

Personally, I usually accept those who are in the travel industry or whom I know from previous jobs. It really bothers me when someone sends me a LinkedIn connection request with a spammy email!

This is a good move. I would like to see an interim ASTA program where new to the iduatry advisors can be working their way to the VTA level.

We all have to start somewhere.

Your thoughts?

ASTA is adding requirements for experience and annual sales as well as continuing education to attain and retain the title.
