We are conveniently located less than a mile from The Village at Mammoth and Village Gondola, 1/2 mile from Canyon Lodge, and 1 mile to Eagle Lodge. Also a short walk to the free shuttle stop. This is strictly a non-smoking unit. Sleeping: Queen platform bed in loft, sleeper sofa in living area with memory foam mattress (just replaced with a new one September 2021). All furniture purchased new in summer 2017, and new queen mattress in the loft was replaced October 2019, and a Dormeo topper added September 2021. Tech/Entertainment: Flat screen HD TV, cable, DVD, Wi-Fi, Alexa enabled. Baths: Large full bath upstairs in the loft has a walk-in shower, hair dryer, quality towels, glass shelving and hanging storage. Convenient small 1/2 bath is downstairs. Kitchen: Has all the basics you need to cook and eat at home - pots and pans (new September 2021), utensils, dishes, microwave, toaster, blender, electric kettle, sharp knives, and of course the uber-essentials: wine glasses, wine opener, 8-cup Bonavita thermal carafe coffee maker.
** September 2021 ** Kitchen Upgrade! We remodeled with new cabinets, countertops, and stainless steel appliances, and granite composite sink, and we added a small dishwasher! Parking: Loading/unloading is a snap with two reserved spots right at the front door. This is a quiet, convenient location where you can enjoy all the offerings of this beautiful area. Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, Hiking, Fishing, Sight-seeing, Shopping, Dining, there is plenty to do! We are animal lovers and have a 13 year old pup, and a puppy that joined our family in September 2019. For years struggled with the challenges of finding affordable, well cared-for, pet-friendly units to rent. Here your house-trained and well-behaved pets are welcome! You will find bowls for food and water available for your fur-kids. Silicone mat for the water bowl too.

** Please do NOT leave pets unattended or alone in the condo, we have nice neighbors and other renters to consider. Dogs must be leashed and picked up after! **

Pets typically are not allowed on rental unit furniture. Pets get on rental unit furniture. We get it! We have cute dog-themed couch covers for each couch - if your pet does want up, please use the covers to protect furniture from those nails, dirt, or other damage. We'd like to keep the furniture nice for future guests as well. Please do your best to wipe paws before hitting the carpet. We just put in new deluxe vinyl flooring and carpeting in September 2019, we'd like to keep it nice as long as possible! We provide a few things just inside the front door to help: a "Mud-Buster" which is super helpful to wash paws, towels to wipe paws, large drying towel, there is also an extra mat designed to remove mud from paws just inside the door. We will keep the one-time pet fee low (as opposed to the nightly fee that we have experienced over the years), however if there is additional mess, excessive fur or damage, there will be an additional charge to clean/repair (that goes for any additional people-mess too! The cleaning fee covers basic cleaning. Anything over and above that will be an additional charge)

Fresh Snow Alert! We received 2-3” of new snow in the last 24 hours, bringing our final storm total to 39-48”. The storm has officially cleared out, giving the team an opportunity to start working on getting the mountain prepped for everyone to enjoy the fresh snow.

This morning, ski patrol and lift maintenance will focus their efforts on the base chairlifts out of Canyon and Eagle Lodges but expect delayed openings on those chairlifts. There are still very strong winds that are affecting chairlift operations, with many chairlifts on wind hold this morning.

Please adhere to all rope closures as they are up for everyone’s safety. We highly recommend riding inbounds with your beacon and lapping with your powder pal today.

MONO COUNTY ALERT: Record Snowpack and Warmer Temperatures Present Dangerous Ice Conditions

(04/26/23) - Mono County Officials are urging residents and visitors to research local conditions, and exercise extreme caution when recreating outdoors as record snowpack coupled with rising temperatures have created hazardous and fragile ice conditions throughout the Eastern Sierra.

“We recognize the desire to get out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors as the weather has improved, but the extreme weather conditions we’ve experienced recently have resulted in dangerous conditions on local rivers, streams, and lakes,” said Chris Mokracek, Director of the Mono County Office of Emergency Management. “Residents and visitors are advised to avoid ice fishing, and urged to exercise extreme caution when recreating on Mono County’s waterways.”

It’s been a historic season here at Mammoth and it looks like we’re just one storm away from breaking the all-time record of 668” of total season snowfall. We are stoked to announce that we will be open daily for skiing and riding until AT LEAST the end of July. As always, we do not have a closing date set, but will plan to stay open as long as conditions allow. Sitting on one of the deepest base depths ever recorded at Main Lodge, it’s going to be some of the best spring skiing and riding we’ve ever seen.

There are a number of questions about Canyon and Eagle which are currently set to close at the end of day on 4/16. Construction on the replacement for Canyon Express (Chair 16) starts immediately on 4/17, but we plan to keep Canyon Lodge lift and terrain connections open on Friday through Sunday through at least the end of April. We will have more details on specific lifts and terrain as we get a bit closer. Eagle Lodge will still close for the season on 4/16.

Team MMSA has done truly heroic work this season through some of the toughest conditions we’ve ever experienced - thank you for all that you do.

There is going to be no better place than Mammoth to get in months of spring and summer turns – we can’t wait to see you on the hill for some fun!
