Pinch me! Do I really live in such a spectacular place? We visited so often that we eventually bought a second home in 2003. Sounds like a perfect life to me!

My husband John and I have been visiting Mammoth since high school ski club - we won't mention the year....let's just say "a long time ago." We started spending more and more time in Mammoth and eventually decided to try living in Mammoth full-time. We started with a one-year experiment. We are now beginning our third year as Mammoth residents and LOVE it! I should clarify....as John likes to say

"Sonja lives here full-time but I split my time between Mammoth and Bakersfield." As a Financial Advisor, John can telecommute most of the time but spends approximately 8 nights a month in Bakersfield. I am a realtor here in Mammoth and clients are always asking for suggestions on what to do in the area. The idea behind this page is to share my favorites and ask you to share yours. Anything that is open to the public (free or for a fee) should be included…favorite hikes, best cup of coffee, upcoming events…whatever you LOVE about Mammoth! My opinions and those posted by others on this page are just that “opinions.” Although I know a lot about Mammoth and Eastern Sierra, each day I learn something new! I hope you enjoy the page and I look forward to seeing your posts! As always, it is a great day in Mammoth Lakes! Pinch me!!!

Found this on our walk around Convict Lake today. Thanks for the fun surprise Fernley Rocks! We left it for the person to enjoy!

We are looking for people who love puppy breath! We get our puppies at approximately 8 weeks old until they go to formal guide dog training to change someone's life at about 15-18 months old.

Can't commit to a puppy for that long? You can co-raise with another raiser, raise an 8 week old puppy until he is 6 months (the "adorable" phase), raise an older puppy until he is ready to go to formal guide dog training (the "mature" phase) - contact us for more information!

We are also looking for puppy sitters. Yes, you can have other pets in your home!
