Newly renovated, Shorebirds Beach Cottages offers you a relaxing, comfortable getaway on Manasota Key. The beauty of the Gulf of Mexico’s blue-green waters and shell strewn beach is only a 3 minute walk away from your cottage. Each cottage has two bedrooms, one bath and features 1-king, 1-queen, kitchen, living room with sleeper sofa allowing up to 4 adult guests, or 6 guests including children.

Explore the key on one of our bicycles, SUP’s or kayaks, available to guests with your stay! A 10 minute walk and you can be at the gem of the Key, Stump Pass State Park, a pristine beach and wildlife preserve. You may even see turtle hatchlings heading for the sea! Pack your bags, we have everything else covered including beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas! Don’t forget your flip flops!

Hi Everyone,

Shorebirds is in the middle of a major remodel after being walloped by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We are restoring our cottages to our prior beach style and in the high standard our guests deserve!

We are expecting to reopen around mid-February!

Look for updates about our progress and our calendar reopening for bookings! Please contact us if you are interested in staying with us!

We look forward to welcoming our previous and new guests in the near future!
