It's everyone's favorite day….Thursday because a new testimonial is coming up!! This week's testimonial comes from Paris, France since it is still Paris week. The testimonial this week comes from Mrs. Jo Ann Williams about her dream vacation coming true!

For years mine was Paris, France was my dream vacation! I finally made it there for the first time in 2016. Paris has so much more to offer! I enjoyed the people, museums and just walking the streets of Paris. I loved stopping at cafes to indulge in their delicious cuisine and a bit of people watching. I could have a meal of croissants and chocolate filled beignets alone!!! I have been there with my husband, my daughter, and with my sister and each time it felt like a brand-new experience. My next journey to Paris will be a girl’s trip and we are planning a Paris Takeover!!

On this Wednesday of Paris week is a segment called 'What to Eat Wednesday'. To highlight some of the staple foods of this lovely destination.

Croissant 🥐 (left)- This breakfast staple has been around in France since 1838. This pastry was inspired by another European bread roll from central Europe. Croissants are named after their crescent shape. This delight is made with dough layered with butter that is then rolled using the laminating technique that then results in the final texture similar to a puff pastry.

Beignets🍴(far right)- This French festival pastry has been around since the 16th century in France. This pastry is a deep fried to soft golden brown topped with powdered sugar and can have many different sweet fillings.

Crepes 🍽(middle) - This French delight has been a staple in this country since the 13th century. It originated in Brittany, France . This dish can be served as a sweet treat or a savory bite with a variety of fillings.

As you may know this week is Paris week, where we discuss all things Paris,France. Today is all about tourist attractions. However, not just any attractions in Paris we’re talking about the Eiffel Tower (bottom right), Arc de Triomphe (upper right) and the Louvre Museum (middle)!

The Eiffel Tower has been an iconic landmark for centuries. Did you know that the tower has been through many color changes over the years. It was first a reddish-brown color when it was first opened and then was changed to a yellow color. Now the tower keeps its yellow-brownish color, but it is painted every seven years with 60 tons of paint.

Arc de triomphe is a very busy attraction, but this still doesn’t take away from its beauty and rich history! This beautiful landmark took 30 years to build and was inspired by the Arc of Titus in Rome, Italy. In 1921 an unknown French soldier from WW1 was buried at this historic landmark. However, two years later the eternal flame was lit there and has been lit for almost 100 years to honor and remember those who fought and died for their country.

Everyone loves a good piece of art which you can enjoy at the louvre museum. This famous and historic museum houses one of the most famous paintings in the world, the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci. But that's not the only thing that makes it a blast from the past. This museum has been around for 8 centuries and was once a fortress in the 12th century established by King Phillip and King Phillip II. Still to this day it is the largest museum in the world!

These are just a few examples of what Paris, France has in store for you on your next vacation to this lovely country! Will this be your next dream vacation?

Hey everyone! My name is Lalah Simmons and I have been traveling since I was a toddler. But one of my favorite places that I have traveled to thus far in my life is without a doubt St.Thomas U.S Virgin Island. I love the beach and some good waves and St.Thomas beaches have absolutely zero rocks in the sand, which feels absolutely amazing! The sand on their beaches are soft and fluffy; it truly feels like velvet and a great exfoliator on your skin too. Along with the beautiful beaches the atmosphere and vibes here are wonderful. The people are very welcoming and cheerful to be around. This has been by far one of my favorite relaxing destinations.

Hello everyone! My name is Nijah and I have been traveling since as young as I could remember. However, one of my favorite islands I have traveled to has been St.Kitts & Nevis in the Caribbean. The views at this beautiful island are quite honestly breathtaking and look like a postcard. Their history is really fascinating since one of their most famous people from the island is one of my favorite musicals, Hamilton. If you ever get to go here you have to do a tour of the island without a doubt! One of my favorite memories from this beautiful place was seeing the miniature monkeys in tutus on the mountainside of the island.

Travel Tip #01: When flying to Europe overnight, it is easier to adjust to local time faster if you stay awake until it is bedtime based on the locations' local time. Resist the urge to take a nap. You will wake up closer to the current locations' time which will lessen jet lag.
