Walt Disney World Resort's golf courses are getting an upgrade! The bunkers at the Magnolia course were upgraded in 2015, and now the enhancement teams are moving to Disney's 3 other courses: Lake Buena Vista, Palm, and Oak Trail. The Palm course is getting some re-imagined bunkers, better drainage capabilities and an aeration. It’ll re-open June 18, 2018. All the bunkers at the Lake Buena Vista course will be enhanced with new, powdery white sand, while the Oak Trail course will be totally resurfaced with paspalum grass! Both courses will be finished by mid-August. In the meantime, there will be special discounted rates at both courses in addition to regular rates at the Magnolia and Palm courses, which are open for play all summer, along with FootGolf, the hybrid soccer and golf game recently added to Oak Trail.
