Any time of the year is perfect for a visit to Manistique. Summer temperatures along Lake Michigan's northern shore are comfortable, averaging 76 degrees. That's great weather for all kinds of summer activities like hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, antique shopping and sightseeing. During the winter, outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy over 71 inches of fresh snow and an average temperature of 26 degrees, while they go snowmobiling, skiing, dog sledding and ice fishing. And in the fall, there are plenty of things to do and natural beauty to experience.
