We get asked a lot how far the dock is from the house. I’d say it’s an easy swinging lob wedge down the hill. We are pretty lucky to have a zero-entry slope to the water with a dock that’s so close.

A little paint and TLC can go a long ways. When we started on our Mani Bay Chalet, the wood in the kitchen was all the same color. We needed to give it a little life. We used the color Isle of the Pines, and added some updated hardware.

Over the past nine months, there have been several transformations, but none were discussed as much as our dock. It was lifted 30 degrees and tilting in every direction. Of all the scenarios discussed (including scrapping it), we finally found an efficient way to level it out.
