This IS NOT 100% volunteer... a local coordinator actually earns a stipend AND can earn free trips to exciting locations around the world. I am looking for qualified individuals to work as Local Coordinators across Wi.
Your primary responsibilities are working with local schools, recruiting host families, match students with families, maintaining contact with exchange students and host families throughout the exchange, and problem solving when needed. There are a few required meetings, and many Local Coordinators enjoy having extra outings with the students and families. It’s perfect for those looking to do something meaningful in their spare time, people who want to supplement their income, people who don’t need/want a 9-5 job, and even stay-at-home moms. You earn $1,100 and travel points for each student you place. Travel opportunities for our annual conferences in new international locations each year, all expenses paid. Next conference: Lisbon, Portugal, in the fall of 2020. - You set your own hours, determine your level of involvement, and can work from home. Cold and snowy in Manitowoc but warm and cozy in front of the fireplace at the Blue Butterfly Home. Several friendly restaurants within one mile to visit as well as Capital Civic Center that has performances every weekend. Come to the Lakeshore for a relaxing weekend . And my all time Favorite is Beernsteins Chocolates. And the New Wine Bar on north 8th St. Give them a try.

Want a quiet get a way place to stay on Lake Michigan in December? Want to just chill and have a relaxing time to enjoy some time away from home? Try the Blue Butterfly House just off of Memorial Drive near the YMCA and a short walk to the Maritime Museum. And a 45 minute drive to Lambeau Field and the Hall of Fame. This vacation home has two apartments that have separate entrances and each has two bedrooms. Top floor sleeps 7 people. Main floor has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 5 . Each apartment has a bathrooms. Top floor has a balcony with view of Lake Michigan and Lighthouse. Main floor has a den overlooking the Lake. Two different park are 2 blocks away, boat harbor and marina is walking distance away and YMCA is 5 blocks away. Summer Farmers Markets are within walking distance on Saturdays. Bike trails are available along the Lake and two beaches are within short driving distance. World class golf courses are a short 45 minute drive and Green Bay Packer Hall of fame is 45 minutes away. If you want to visit Door County which is known as the "Cape Cod of the Midwest", is a 1 and half hour drive.
The Martime Museum with a retired Submarine that you can tour is a 15 minutes walk away. So many things to do and see while vacationing or business visits to the Lakeshore area in the homey, comfortable home. Give it a try and reserve you dates for 2020. PM for dates and prices.
