Enjoy your morning coffee watching sunrises over the Croatan Sound and relax in the evening watching the sun go down from the private dock or the screened in porch. A true sportsman’s paradise, the cabin is great for hunting, fishing and water sports of all kinds. You can launch your boat or jet ski at 2 nearby boat ramps, one at the foot of the Umstead Bridge in Mann's Harbor, the other on Mashoe

s Road. Both will get you to a private dock in 15 minutes, or launch your canoe or kayak right from the house. The bottom is sandy around the dock and beach area so kids will love the swimming or just crabbing to catch the night’s dinner. Just minutes away from Historic Roanoke Island to the east, where you can enjoy the NC Aquarium, The Lost Colony, Island Farm, The Elizabeth II Historic Site, Civil War sites, Art Galleries and The Christmas Shop, just to mention a few of the best local attractions. To the west wildlife abounds on the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, where you can enjoy kayak tours and miles of nature trails.
