🌟Meet the Cast🌟

The Playhouse is excited to welcome Suzanne Allen back to the stage in our upcoming production, “Said the Spider to the Spy”!! Suzanne is a mother, grandmother, student, and volunteer. Live theater gives her the opportunity to explore her dark side and convince others that she is someone else. You never know what adventures await.

“Said the Spider to the Spy” brings us Augusta Waycross, who borrows the identity and the Florida beach home of her friend, a best selling romance author, touching off one of the funniest mistaken identities comedies ever written. A cache of Colombian he**in is left in the house by a missing guest, attracting various characters to the location. A detective passes out after mistakenly overdosing on sleeping pills and drowsily awakes thinking he's Adele's husband, but so does a mysterious young man who keeps calling the Missing Persons Bureau to find out who he is. Augusta and a friend try to catch the drug king pin, but the real Adele arrives and finds herself surrounded by men claiming to be her husband. Then, her husband shows up with and an odd couple from the women's club. Scene after hilarious scene culminate in revelations: who are these people and why are they pretending to be someone else

“Said the Spider to the Spy” opens Friday, February 28 and runs for two weekends, February 28, March 1, 7, and 8 at 8:00 pm, and March 9 at 2:30 pm!
