One week ago I came home from the Dominican Republic and I can’t help but feel so incredibly honored and blessed to have been chosen to attend this year’s Future Leaders in Travel Retreat hosted by the wonderful ! 🌴

My mind is still reeling from the overwhelming amount of knowledge and information I was absorbing, and I have pages upon pages of notes to show for it. I was truly learning from the best of the best, and these people are SO passionate about the travel industry and the collaboration and empowerment of small business owners like me! This experience has been life changing for the future of Roundtrips and Romances, and I am excited to see what the future holds! ✈️

I want to give a huge thank you to Northstar, Travel Age West, Travel Pulse, and Travel Weekly for organizing such an incredible event. It was such a gift to meet other future leaders in travel industry, share insights with one another, and learn from some of the brightest minds in the industry. I am so excited to announce we will be celebrating our wedding anniversary together on another adventure, this time in ! 🎉🇧🇧

Four years ago today, I married my best friend in the midst of a still, quiet, world that was locked down and full of uncertainty, and marriage has been the sweetest gift from God that I am thankful for each day. 💕

I am so passionate about romance travel because I truly believe dedicated time away from the distractions and busyness of the world is so helpful for your relationship. It gives you space for meaningful conversations, space to dream together, and space to create new memories together full of joy, laughter, and fun. 🥰

If you've been waiting for my exciting announcement, here is a hint 👀

One of my absolute favorite things about my job is touring resorts and getting actual experience with different destinations, resorts, and brands, as well as the travel experience that goes along with it. ✈

One aspect I specifically enjoy seeing is different room categories and the resort layout.

More often than not, the photos you find online only show you a portion of what to expect, and figuring out where each room category is located can be a headache.😵‍💫

Maybe you want to be really close to the restaurants and pools, maybe you want a secluded, private room that is quiet, or maybe it's important to be beachfront, or have a great view. These are all things to consider when booking your room, and this information isn't always readily available online.

This is why resort tours and experiences are so important to me! 🌴

With that in mind, I am excited to announce the next Roundtrips and Romances destination experience is here!

At the end of the month, I will be touring some amazing resorts in a new destination, perfect for your next romantic getaway! 💕🥰

There's nothing like planning a vacation that your clients absolutely love! It's all worth it when they have the time of their lives, and I couldn't be happier with how this 35th-anniversary trip turned out. We’ve been working on an amazing multi-gen family getaway to Banff and the itinerary is quite amazing!

They’ll be seeing all the highlights like Lake Louise, gondola rides, and a cruise on Lake Minnewanka, going on some amazing excursions like touring the icefields and a wildlife expedition, and staying in a nice villa with plenty of space to make new memories and eat meals together.

What’s not to love?!

PLEASE stop scrolling and let me tell you about this amazing hotel in Sedona, Arizona!! 🤩

The Courtyard by Marriott in Sedona, Arizona is the PERFECT place to stay on your hiking adventure!

From the moment you step into the lobby you will see artistic, updated design choices that constantly remind you that you're in the mountains. The rooms are upscale with modern technology touches like usb plug ins and, and the bathrooms are all updated and have a nifty towel access. 🏔

BUT, the best part is still to come. The ROOFTOP patio has patio heaters, comfortable seating, and red rock views for DAYS!!! And as seen in the first photo, each room comes with wine glasses almost as if drinking wine on the patio is encouraged... It's not uncommon to find others enjoying the magnificent sunsets with pizza and wine! 🍷

The pool is a fun bonus, there are 2 large communal fire pits for making new friends and swapping hiking stories, and a hiking trail only known by locals right off the resort.

THIS, is why you need to stay here for your next hiking adventure!!!🌄

I am absolutely LOVING this quality time hiking in Arizona with my hubby.

It's been a rollercoaster of a year already and like a hike, there are many different ups and downs that we navigate through together, supporting each other when the other is struggling, and encouraging each other when the other starts to lose hope.

But when you look back on the hike after it's completed, you realize it was the journey, not the final destination, that was the best part. That's life, and this is the person I want to do it with forever.

I can't wait to share more of our trip with you soon.

Hey there 👋
Remember when I said to stay tuned for my next trip to the Caribbean???

Well, that trip is fully booked and finalized and I am SO pumped to share it with you!!

I will be heading back to Cancun, Mexico for a week of resort tours and supplier meetings, as well as some fun in the sun... this time with my mom and sis!!!!!

I am so excited to share this special destination with them and excited for you to be able to follow along!
