The Maplewood Special Business District has recently completed a 5-month project, transforming a walkway in our vibrant business district!
Partnering with the students and teachers from Maplewood Richmond Heights School District and a resident master gardener, this project was a true community effort.
Students conducted soil samples, researched native species, managed a budget, and boosted local biodiversity. They presented their findings to the SBD Commission, and upon approval, they got to work on planting.
Huge shoutout to these amazing students for their dedication and hard work! This project not only beautifies our district but also educates our future leaders on sustainability and community involvement.
