Back in the day, we all called him fat Albert, a Navy blimp that was tied down to Key West. It could see over 70 miles on a clear day. It could see Fort Jefferson, Dry Tortugas, and as far as telescopic night vision, it was a Smugglers Nightmare. I can’t imagine the surveillance they have now. Today, Fat Albert is able to see the shores of Cuba and then some. Oh the technology....Have you seen Fat Albert whole visiting the Keys?

Whaaaat? Look out for those bad boys. My 1st year in the keys vacationing I had one fall out of a tree and landed in my outdoor shower, WHILE I was showering. Its tail broke off too. Can't make that up. .

Did you know that we have the longest street in the world here in the Keys? You do now.
Duval street in Key West has been nicknamed “The longest street in the World” because if you take a stroll from one end to the other you will be walking from the Atlantic Ocean all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. Whew. I’m suggesting you stop somewhere along the way for “supplies” 😉🍹

The one and only Bahia Honda State Park bridge; who hasn't been here? What a joy to walk the white sands and enjoy snorkeling, kayaking or fishing these amazing waters!!! Anyone know how and why that part of the bridge is out?

We want to step back and thank all of your who have stayed at our homes and vacationed with us. Many of you have become like family and return each year, we catch up on who is doing what, share pictures of kids or grandkids, weddings, etc.

We want to thank each of your personally for staying with us, watching for our posts and new updates and news, and sending us pics of your wonderful vacations here in Marathon, FL!

We have just been given the pleasure of hosting another amazing 2 families this week and who have decided to purchase their dream vacation home right here in Marathon and asked us to manage their home for them. We are beyond humbled and honored to be your property manager on your new adventure and look forward to a fantastic relationship!

Another note, our wonderful Whimsical Seas home has been put up for sale and sold in 2 hours and the new owners want to remain with us as well, how exciting So, many new adventures are coming our way.
