The month of March brings some new species to the shallow reefs. Today we got an early arrival XL porgy. Looking forward to catch more of these the next few weeks.

Went from a sunny warm February 1st day to a massive fog bank coming back in. Much of the day it looked a large menacing breaking wave was about to crash into marathon. This is mid range of how bad it was. Radar approach all the way home. Spooky!!!!😂

Cold, windy, sunny and calm. All a little bit of what we have had lately. The value in booking a charter with an established charter operator is knowing your captain has a winning plan or 3 to make challenging conditions and ok days into days worth coming back for more. The charter industry has been disrupted by fishingbooker. A newer 3rd party app that promotes businesses without a history or a website a simple way to book charters at a discount that shorts the operator 25% of their earnings for each trip. Just imagine what whatever business you are in, if someone was in your place for 25% less pay and without a resume and that is it. Just imagine how any profit, sustainable or not, is made by undercutting the cost of operating an actual business and then handing over $25% of what could have been made to book each trip. The answer is a 1=1 ratio. Cut cost of operation. Cut cost of trip. Give away 25% of earnings up front to be in business. If that is applied to your job or business right now, what is the end product and result? Do you want that for your fishing trip? You are really going to put your family on a boat you know nothing about and an operation you have zero communication with because it came up first on a google search as a sponsored ad? You sure are by using fishingbooker.

Good half day reef trip yesterday. Goal was action, meat to freeze and some bigger fish. We struckout on the big fish by size, but our light tackle efforts yielded some quality fish and a fun mix🐷🐟

We beat the wind and rain yesterday to put together a great catch in calm conditions. Storming today, but game on the next week. I have some openings the first week of January for you to get your ocean adventure on! Catching has been great

We beat the wind today and put together a great catch before noon on my customers boat. Back on land a pair of 2025 Suzuki’s are being hung on my boat. New pumps, batteries and engines to get a solid start on my charter “busy” season.
