Feasting with family and friends today…gratitude and best wishes. Sharing a meal started this holiday in 1621. The Plymouth Colonist (from England) of Massachusetts were grateful for the Wampanoag Indians who taught them how to survive in what they called the New World. We have come a long way from those days. Family and friends are the most important people ~ still today. Enjoy!

From a Nemi village retreat (outside Roma to flying out today to Greece - it has been a great journey into this special village propped up on the Alban Hills and Lake Nemi (a volcanic crater)! 2 ships were discovered in this lake. The Museum takes one on this history including the godess Diana. More yacht talk to come!

I love yacht charter shows in the spring. Europe is always a sure bet for taking a week or more on a private yacht in Greece, Italy, Croatia and try Montenegro (an easy jaunt from Dubrovnik). The best part of these shows are seeing the hard working yacht chefs bringing out the most high quality cuisine for the upcoming season. April 26 - May 2nd, I will be walking the docks and getting first hand information on these talented judges making their choices for the most skilled chefs.
