Bear camp 2024 was a success. My sister and I shot a nice bears. Got mine with a crossbow on 1st of September 350 pound. We believe it was the same bear that was at the resort few weeks prior got him 5 miles north of the Resort.Parker got her first bear ever with a rifle 271 pound bear. Looking forward to next year Rachel should get a tag after waiting five years and I will try for a surplus tag again.

Fishing has been a little slow the last week or so picked up with the cold snap looks like it’s gonna be warm again. Water temperature is 68 to 62.

Water temps still in the high 70s fish are being caught deep trying to stay in cool water fishing Should pick up here in the next few weeks as water temps and temperatures cool down.
